Brake repair

Confident, quiet stops, with pads, rotors, calipers and fluid checked together.

We measure pad and rotor wear, inspect calipers and hoses, and check the brake fluid, then tell you what needs attention now and what can wait.

Signs you need it

  • Squealing or grinding when you brake
  • Pedal feels soft, spongy or sinks low
  • Car pulls to one side when stopping
  • Steering wheel or pedal shakes under braking

Oil change

Fresh oil and a new filter so your engine runs cooler, cleaner and longer.

We drain the old oil, replace the filter and refill with the oil grade your manufacturer specifies. It is also a good moment to check fluids, belts, wipers and tire pressure.

Signs you need it

  • Oil-change or maintenance light is on
  • You are past the date or mileage on your last service sticker
  • Oil on the dipstick is dark, low or gritty
  • Engine ticks or sounds louder at startup
Request oil change

Engine diagnostics & check engine light

Find out why the light is on before a small fault turns into a big repair.

A scan tool reads the stored trouble codes. We then test the related parts to confirm the real cause, so you are not paying to replace parts on a guess.

Signs you need it

  • Check engine light is on or flashing
  • Rough idle, stalling or hesitation
  • Fuel economy has dropped
  • Failed an emissions test

AC & heating

Cold air in summer, real heat in winter and a windshield that clears fast.

We check refrigerant pressure, look for leaks and test the compressor, blower, blend doors and heater core so the repair targets the part that actually failed.

Signs you need it

  • AC blows warm or only cools at highway speed
  • Weak airflow from the vents
  • Heater never gets properly hot
  • Musty smell or windows that fog up
Request ac & heating

Transmission service

Smooth, predictable shifting, and early warning before a small issue grows.

We check fluid level and condition, scan for transmission codes and road-test the vehicle to tell whether you need a fluid service, an adjustment or a larger repair.

Signs you need it

  • Delayed, harsh or clunky shifts
  • Engine revs but the car does not speed up
  • Red or brown fluid under the car
  • Burning smell or a transmission warning light
Request transmission service

Suspension & steering

A steady ride and steering that goes exactly where you point it.

We inspect shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints, tie rods and bushings. Worn parts affect handling, braking distance and how fast your tires wear.

Signs you need it

  • Bouncing or floating over bumps
  • Clunks when turning or going over bumps
  • Car wanders on straight roads
  • Tires wearing unevenly
Request suspension & steering

Tires & alignment

Even tire wear, straight tracking and better grip in rain and snow.

Mounting, balancing, rotation and wheel alignment to manufacturer specs, plus a tread and sidewall check so you know how much life your tires have left.

Signs you need it

  • Steering wheel is off-center or the car drifts
  • Vibration at highway speed
  • Tread is low or worn on one edge
  • You hit a pothole or curb hard
Request tires & alignment

Batteries & electrical

Reliable starts on cold mornings and electronics that work when you need them.

We load-test the battery, starter and alternator and trace electrical faults such as dead circuits, flickering lights or a battery that drains overnight.

Signs you need it

  • Slow crank or clicking when you start the car
  • Battery or charging light is on
  • Dim or flickering headlights
  • Battery keeps going flat
Request batteries & electrical

Scheduled maintenance

Stay on your manufacturer's service schedule and protect resale value.

We follow your vehicle's factory maintenance intervals (fluids, filters, spark plugs, belts and inspections) and you get a record of the work for your files.

Signs you need it

  • A maintenance reminder is showing on the dash
  • You are coming up on a major mileage interval
  • You bought the car used and do not know its history
  • You have a long road trip coming up

Pre-purchase inspection

Know what you are buying before you hand over the money.

A top-to-bottom check of a used car you are considering: engine, brakes, suspension, leaks, tires, electronics and a road test, explained so you can negotiate or walk away.

Signs you need it

  • You are buying from a private seller
  • The car is out of factory warranty
  • The price looks almost too good
  • You want repair costs factored into your offer

FAQ

Common questions.

Still wondering about something? Call (555) 010-0142 or send us a message.

How do I know if my brakes need attention?

Common signs are squealing or grinding, a soft or low pedal, vibration when you stop, or the car pulling to one side. If you notice any of these, have the brakes inspected soon.

My check engine light is on. Is it safe to drive?

A steady light usually means the car can be driven to a shop soon, but the cause should be diagnosed. A flashing light often means a misfire that can damage the catalytic converter, so limit driving and get it checked as soon as possible.

How often should I change my oil?

Follow the interval in your owner's manual or your car's oil-life monitor. Short trips, extreme temperatures and towing can shorten it.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended so we can plan time for your car. The quickest way to get on the schedule is to call (555) 010-0142 or send the appointment form.

Will I know the cost before work starts?

Yes. We explain what we found and what the repair involves, and you approve the work before it starts.

Do you work on my make and model?

We see most cars, SUVs and light trucks. For specialty or classic vehicles, call (555) 010-0142 before you book.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards and cash.
